New update of Kim Min-ju, the only one who changed the route after IZ*ONE’s disbandment

The recent status of Kim Min-ju, who turned into an actress after IZ*ONE’s disbandment, was revealed.

On Oct 27th, MBC unveiled still cuts of Kim Min-ju, who appears in the new Friday-Saturday drama “The Forbidden Marriage”.

“The Forbidden Marriage”, which is scheduled to premiere on Dec 9th, is a drama based on a web novel of the same name. It follows the story of King Lee Heon (Kim Young-dae) who has issued a marriage ban in Joseon after the death of his crown princess seven years ago, and scammer So-rang (Park Ju-hyun) who claims that she can be possessed by the late crown princess’s spirit. Kim Min-ju plays Ahn Ja-yeon, the crown princess who passed away seven years ago in “The Forbidden Marriage”.

Born in 2001, Kim Min-ju debuted as Moon Ga-young’s younger counterpart in MBC’s drama “Tempted” in March 2018.

After that, she made her debut as a singer with girl group IZ*ONE through Mnet’s “Produce 48” in August of the same year.

Kim Min-ju, who was active with IZ*ONE until April 2021, turned into an actress unlike Jang Won-young, Kwon Eun-bi, Miyawaki Sakura, Kang Hye-won, Choi Ye-na, Lee Chae-yeon, Kim Chae-won, Yabuki Nako, Honda Hitomi, Jo Yu-ri and An Yu-jin, who are working as singers and actresses at the same time. “The Forbidden Marriage” will be Kim Min-ju’s first work after IZ*ONE’s disbandment.
