New stories of Kim Garam keeps popping up after she departed from LE SSERAFIM

New past photos of Kim Garam, who left LE SSERAFIM due to school violence allegations, are being released, drawing attention.

Recently, several photos were posted on a Twitter account under the title of “Kim Garam’s past photos”. The account was created in August 2022, after Kim Garam left LE SSERAFIM, and has since been posting only pictures of Kim Garam’s part.

The photos appeared to be captured when Kim Garam was attending middle school or highschool, and included a selfie, a photo taken with a friend, and more. These have spreaded to Korena online forums, and become a hot topic there.

Seeing this, some assumed that Kim Garam herself or an acquaintance intentionally posted the former idol’s past pictures.

Below are some comments from netizens:

  • Why do you keep revealing your past now?
  • Are you preparing for a re-debut?
  • I think you are posting normal photos to try and erase the embarrassing blackboard ones
  • Nothing can surpass your blackboard photos

Earlier, immediately after debuting in LE SSERAFIM, the first girl group established by HYBE Labels, Kim Garam was embroiled in a school violence controversy as photos of her past poured out and alleged “victims” spoke up.

In several photos, Kim Garam was standing in front of a blackboard with vulgar draws and words, sparking controversy. Then, the alleged victim Yoo Eun Seo (pseudonym), disclosed a report from the School Violence Countermeasure Committee, which listed Kim Garam as a level 5 perpetrator.

Since then, Kim Garam has always been a heatedly discussed topic, and eventually had to leave her group. On August 10th, she spoke about her school violence controversy through the Instagram account of an acquaintance, and revealed the full text of the aforementioned report from the School Violence Countermeasure Committee.

I am trying harder to live a better life and shine more in the future”, Kim Garam wrote in a letter that explained her past and injustice.
