New stills from “The Glory” Part 2: Why is Song Hye Kyo at a funeral hall?

On January 18th, Netflix first released new still cuts from the upcoming Part 2 of “The Glory”. 

In the three new stills, Joo Yeo Jeong (Lee Do Hyun) and Ha Do Young (Jung Sung Il) play Go together, Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo) stands in front of a funeral hall, and Jeon Jae Joon (Park Sung Hoon) has a scar on his face.

The Glory

Writer Kim Eun Sook expressed her confidence for Part 2, saying, “If you’ve finished watching Part 1, you won’t be able to skip Part 2.” She also revealed that the “taste of revenge” will be concentrated in Part 2. 

Director Ahn Gil Ho said, “The story of the real fight between Moon Dong Eun and Park Yeon Jin and the perpetrators being punished will unfold dynamically and you will not be able to take your eyes off,” raising viewers’ expectations.

The Glory

“The Glory”, which was released on December 30th, follows Moon Dong Eun, whose soul was shattered by violence in her childhood. She meticulously prepared for revenge by risking her entire life, and those who fall into the vortex of her plan.

Part 1 recorded a total of 148 million cumulative viewing hours on Netflix’s TOP 10 and entered the TOP 10 for 3 consecutive weeks. Once again, the power of K-content was confirmed.
