“New environmentalist trend?”… Vegetarians pouring milk onto grocery stores’ floors

Extreme vegetarians and animal liberators are causing controversy.

They go into fast food restaurants or luxury stores and engage in radical acts such as running riot or naked protesting.

Meanwhile, vegetarians protested by spilling milk on the floor at 8 local grocery stores in England.

On Oct 16th (local time), the New York Post reported, “According to ‘Animal Rebellion’, the latest environmentalist trend is here: pouring out milk in grocery stores.”

Videos that have popped up on SNS show teens pouring milk onto the floor, over sales counters and elsewhere in the store.

The name of the protest is “Milk Pour”, which means pouring milk.

Grocery stores’ floors were wet with the milk they spilled. Some of them rushed to meat counters and poured milk.

The “milk pours” took place at 8 different locations, including London, Manchester, Norwich and Edinburgh.

They argued that “plant-based agriculture should develop in the future”.

Animal farming is the leading cause of the loss of our wildlife and natural ecosystems,” the group said in another tweet, which also called for the government to “support farmers in an urgent transition to a plant based food system and allow the freed up land to be rewilded in order to restore wildlife populations.”

Earlier, there was an incident in which environmental activists poured soup on famous paintings to emphasize their claims.

Two activists from the environmental group “Just Stop Oil” held a protest by pouring tomato soup on Van Gogh’s famous painting “Sunflowers” at the London National Gallery on the morning of Oct 14th.

The group is said to have been protesting against works of art, calling for a halt to fossil fuel production.
