Jang Wonyoung gets involved in another controversy over her attitude towards Ahn Yujin.
Considered one of the “It girls” of K-pop 4th generation thanks to her pretty visuals and excellent body, Jang Wonyoung also constantly gets embroiled in controversy over her attitude towards coworkers and seniors. Recently, the center of IVE caused netizens to question if there is any conflict between her and fellow IVE member Yujin.
In a video posted on IVE‘s YouTube channel, Wonyoung made a comment on the role of Yujin in the group. The 18-year-old female idol said, “At first, I thought, Yujin unnie is the leader?”. Based on Wonyoung‘s comment and expression when she said it, some netizens claim that Wonyoung did not consider Yujin to have leadership qualities. Back when the two were active in IZ*ONE, Wonyoung was also accused of glaring at Yujin. Netizens thus suspect there is a feud between Wonyoung and Yujin considering they both are former members of IZ*ONE and continue to debut for the second time in IVE.
However, Wonyoung‘s fans have jumped to her defense and denied this allegation. Fans pointed out that Wonyoung and Yujin have always been close and taking care of each other since they were trainees. Wonyoung made that comment about Yujin was because they were both in the maknae line of IZ*ONE and it is normal to be surprised upon learning that a young member has now become the group’s leader.
