Netizens notice a painful parallel between Cha Eun Woo’s character’s backstory in “True Beauty” and the saddening real-life event 

Viewers notice that both Cha Eun Woo and his character in “True Beauty,” Su Ho, lost someone precious to them. 

Cha Eun Woo and Moon Bin boasted a close friendship. They attended the same high school, Halim Multi Art School. As members of ASTRO, the duo supported each other until the end. In light of the late idol’s sudden passing, netizens notice a painful parallel between Cha Eun Woo’s character’s backstory in “True Beauty” and the saddening event in real life. 

In “True Beauty,” Cha Eun Woo plays Su Ho, a high school student haunted by the death of his friend, Se Yeon. When Se Yeon decided to take his own life, Su Ho was having a conflict with his father, so he did not pick up the phone. When he finally picked up, he learnt that his best friend had committed suicide. 

In real life, Cha Eun Woo also received the news of his close friend passing away in a suspected suicide. Nonetheless, fans are rooted for Cha Eun Woo, other members of ASTRO, and the bereaved family to have the strength to overcome this pain. They also hope that, whatever is behind Moon Bin’s decision, he can be at peace now.
