Netizens moved to tears watching Song Hye-kyo’s confession scene in “Now, We Are Breaking Up”

Actress Song Hye-kyo’s tearful confession scene recorded the highest viewership rating at the moment.

On the December 10 episode of SBS’s “Now, We Are Breaking Up“, the love between Ha Young-eun (Song Hye-kyo) and Yoon Jae-guk (Jang Ki-yong) faced a challenge. Although it was an unacknowledged sad love, Ha Young-eun rather conveyed her real heart to Yoon Jae-guk.

In particular, this scene made viewers nervous. Already once, Ha Young-eun met Yoon Jae-guk’s mother, Mrs. Min (Cha Hwa-yeon), and was told that the love between the two could not be recognized. She later met Yoon Jae-guk, shed tears and told him, “I regret it.” Ha Young-eun added, “I regret it so much that I want to cut those two months out of ten years ago.” Then she confessed, “I love you, so I’m sorry.” Afterwards, Ha Young-eun cried aloud in Yoon Jae-guk’s arms.

This scene soared to 9.7%, the highest rating at the moment based on Nielsen Korea. The overall viewership rating for the episode was 6.9% following last week. Users of Naver TV, an online streaming site, showed reactions such as “I cried at Young-eun’s confession. Song Hye-kyo’s acting is amazing”, “I burst into sorrow because of the affectionate confession”, “I was moved by Young-eun’s words”, “How can she be that pretty while crying?”, “Song Hye-kyo’s crying acting is unrivaled”…
