Netflix Confirms Choi Woo-shik & Son Seok-gu’s “A Killer Paradox” Release In February With Teaser Video

On January 11th, Netflix announced that “A Killer Paradox” will premiere on February 9th. Based on a webtoon of the same name, “A Killer Paradox” tells the story of an ordinary man who accidentally starts murdering and detective who chases after him.

A Killer Paradox

Actor Choi Woo-shik plays Lee Tang, a college student who only murders criminals who committed serious crimes, and Son Seok-gu takes on the role of detective Jang Nan-gam, who investigates Lee Tang’s murder case. Lee Hee-joon appears as Song Chon, a former detective who solves the clues of the murders by chasing after Lee Tang.

This drama was directed by OCN’s “Hell Is Other People” and “The Vanished” director Lee Chang-hee. The script was written by Kim Da-min, who won Daesang in the Feature Film category at the 2019 Gyeonggi Script Planning and Development.

The teaser video released on the same day showed Lee Tang (Choi Woo-shik), who feels lethargic due to his boring daily life, getting slapped. On the next day, he is indiscriminately assaulted by a man while on his way home from the convenience store where he works part-time and cannot hold back his anger. Eventually, he takes out a hammer and fights back then accidentally kills the man. The phrase “The Killed, The Killer” appears on the screen, heralding the change in Lee Tang’s life.
