While actor Yoo Ah In is under police investigation for habitual use of propofol, a photo of his face being covered at outdoor brand Nepa’s store is a hot topic.
On Feb 19th, Yoo Ah In’s advertising photo, in which his face was covered with paper, was uploaded on various online communities. It seems that the store hurriedly erased only Yoo Ah In’s face in a situation where they could not replace the whole billboard.
The original poster said, “I saw it while passing by. I think it’s Yoo Ah In, but his face was covered. I feel sorry for the store owners because it seems like the head office issued instructions not to expose that (Yoo Ah In’s) face.”

Nepa appointed Yoo Ah In as a model in September last year, but after the recent drug controversy broke out, all related photos and videos were taken down from their website and SNS.
On Feb 17th, IVE An Yu Jin was selected as a new brand model. It came 9 days after the report that existing model Yoo Ah In is under police investigation.
Currently, the contract between Nepa and Yoo Ah In has not been terminated. Nepa said, “The selection of An Yu Jin as a model was previously planned, separate from Yoo Ah In’s issue. Regarding Yoo Ah In’s issue, we are waiting for the result of the investigation and comprehensively considering various matters, including the termination of the contract.”
