National MC Yoo Jae-suk complained about viewers’ duality on an entertainment program.
Yoo Jae-suk, who appeared on Kakao TV’s original program “PLAYou”, which aired on May 3rd, started carrying out his mission at the abolished subway station.
He expressed his fear, “The atmosphere is unusual. It seems that today is a horror special episode. I’m going crazy.” He then said, “I don’t like horror special episodes. The production team does more since I hate it.”
Yoo Jae-suk, who was nervous, complained about viewers’ duplicity, “I can’t understand your duality. You asked me to do it, saying ‘I want to see Yoo Jae-suk have a heart attack’, but when I do it, you say, ‘It’s too much. Why is the production team doing that?'”
He represented the production team’s position, “Make up your mind whether to do a horror special episode or not. The production team also has their own difficulties. It’s such a dilemma. It’s not fun if my reaction is weak. If my reaction is strong, you may say that it’s too much.”
When one viewer pointed out “It’s your fault”, Yoo Jae-suk, who was looking at the comment box, got mad, “I’m second to none when it comes to reactions.”
An unexpected incident occurred during the broadcast. The live broadcast, which had been interrupted from the beginning, was stopped 30 minutes before the end.
As the disconnection continued even after the resumption of the broadcast, Yoo Jae-suk apologized, “I’m so sorry. The staff rehearsed several times, but I don’t know why this suddenly happened. I’ll prolong (the broadcast) as much as the delayed time.”
Meanwhile, national MC Yoo Jae-suk has recently been embroiled in political controversy over President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol’s appearance on tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block”. As malicious comments continued, Yoo Jae-suk‘s agency Antenna warned, “We will be taking strong legal action against malicious posts and comments of slander, sexual harassment, false information, personal attacks and defamation that are circulating the internet with Antenna’s artists as subjects.”
