In a shocking revelation, Taiwanese celebrity Mickey Huang, widely known as the “National MC,” was found to have stored a total of 2,259 images and videos of child sexual abuse, involving at least 35 minors aged 10 to 17.
During the 2023 #MeToo movement in Taiwan, Mickey Huang was accused by a woman of sexually harassing her as a minor. He publicly apologized for his “inappropriate behavior,” but was not formally charged at the time.

Subsequently, investigators discovered that Mickey Huang had purchased more than 100 videos of naked women and underage girls from an online community specializing in secretly filmed content, known as the “Creative Private Room” or “Taiwan Nth Chat Room.”
He first registered on the platform on February 12, 2013, and continued purchasing videos from August 8, 2017, to July 8, 2023. This indicates that despite publicly admitting wrongdoing, he continued to engage in illegal activity in secret.

In December 2024, Mickey Huang was charged under Taiwan’s Child and Juvenile Sexual Exploitation Prevention Act. The court sentenced him to 8 months in prison and a fine of 100,000 TWD. He reportedly reached settlements with some victims and filed an appeal to the Taiwan Supreme Court.
In a recent court appearance, Mickey Huang bowed and asked for leniency, claiming he was making amends through settlements. However, the public expressed outrage, criticizing him for failing to show genuine remorse, especially as he has a young daughter.

Mickey Huang has also faced financial struggles, having lost his job and still being required to pay child support after his divorce. Despite his pleas, public sentiment demands stricter punishment for his crimes.
Mickey Huang (born 1972) is a multi-talented entertainer in Taiwanese showbiz. Alongside Jacky Wu, he was one of the top hosts, leading major events such as the Golden Bell Awards and Golden Horse Awards. In 2023, his public image collapsed after accusations of sexual harassment involving minors surfaced.
Following the scandal and the loss of his career, Mickey Huang shocked the public by posting a video exposing alleged misconduct by 18 other artists, including sisters Barbie Hsu and Dee Hsu, Jacky Zhou, and Jacky Wu. He claimed that having lost everything, he wanted to bring down those who had made him unhappy.
After this exposé, he attempted suicide, but was fortunately discovered in time by his wife and taken to the emergency room, avoiding fatal consequences. Since then, Mickey Huang has been completely barred from all activities in the entertainment industry.
