Nancy confesses her feelings after MOMOLAND’s disbandment through a handwritten letter, “MOMOLAND will always be a team”

Member Nancy revealed her thoughts after MOMOLAND’s disbandment announcement.

On February 14th, Nancy released a handwritten letter on SNS, saying “First of all, I want to apologize to our Merry, who must have been very upset after knowing the news through articles”.

She confessed, “I’ve always wondered about how I should repay our Merry, who have always been my great supporters and strength. Looking back on the past, I had many shortcomings and there were also things that I regretted, but I think there were more happy moments. I believe that Merry also felt happy with those times.”

“After a long, deep discussion, the six of us members have decided to support for each other to have a great new beginning going forward,” the female idol said, adding, “Even though we have decided to take our own paths towards our dreams, Us MOMOLAND will always be a team.

“We sincerely thank our beloved Merries for providing us with precious memories and being by our side for the last seven years. Our Merries have been everything to us and always will be.”

Merry here refers to Merry-Go-Round, the official fandom of MOMOLAND.

Nancy also wrote, “We are deeply sorry that we couldn’t let you guys know sooner, but sincerely thank each and everyone that has patiently waited for us. Moving forward, please continue to support and love MOMOLAND and each and every member’s path.”

Previously on January 27th, MOMOLAND’s agency, MLD Entertainment, announced the group’s disbandment and said, “After long discussions with MOMOLAND (Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, Nancy), we agreed to respect each other’s opinions and terminate the exclusive contract upon expiration of the contract period.”

On the other hand, MOMOLAND debuted in 2016 the mini album “Welcome to MOMOLAND”.
