Nam Joo-hyuk: “I always do my best, thinking ‘I was so young’ despite it has not been that long ago” (‘Remember’)

Actor Nam Joo-hyuk revealed his thoughts after finishing filming the movie “Remember.”

On the afternoon of Oct 12th, a press conference for the movie “Remember” (directed by Lee Il-hyung) was held at GGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Director Lee Il-hyung, actors Lee Sung-min and Nam Joo-hyuk attended the event.

“Remember” is the story of Pil-ju (played by Lee Sung-min), an Alzheimer’s patient who has been planning his revenge for 60 years in search of a pro-Japanese group that killed all his family, and In-gyu (played by Nam Joo-hyuk), his best friend who is in his 20s and unintentionally got caught up in Pil-ju’s revenge.

In the drama, Nam Joo-hyuk played In-gyu, a young man in his 20s who is confused by the situation in which he unintentionally participated in Pil-ju’s revenge.

On this day, Nam Joo-hyuk shared how he thought that a lot of time has passed (since the filming of “Remember”). “I’m looking back a lot on those days. I think I had had a lot of feelings when I went to the scene and acted with my utmost,” he said.

He added, “After a long time, when I watched the movie, I thought, ‘I was so young’ when I saw myself on the screen.”

Nam Joo-hyuk said, “Actually, I’m still the same now in terms of acting, and I’ve always focused when I’m on the set. I’m someone who can’t watch my finished acting work, so I have the most memories about doing my best all the time on the filming set,” he said.

Meanwhile, “Remember” will be released on Oct 26th.
