Nam Goong Min hints at ‘My Dearest Part 2’, “It’s more interesting and has more beautiful love stories”
Nam Goong Min and Ahn Eun Jin talked about the filming of “My Dearest”
The broadcast of “My Dearest – Part 1 Rewind Fim”, which aired on September 8th, revealed behind stories about the production team and the cast on the filming set.
Writer Hwang Jin Young said they planned the drama for 5 years and started filming 9 months ago. Director Kim Sung Yong added, “We tried to show viewers how people in that time lived and struggled to survive”.
Nam Goong Min and Ahn Eun Jin, who contributed greatly to the success of the drama with their passionate acting and perfect chemistry, mentioned their favorite scenes. Nam Goong Min said, “The scene where I say, ‘My heart has changed’, and we hug was directed so well and it came out beautifully.”
Ahn Eun Jin praised the energy of director Kim Sung Yong, saying “He was always lively on the set. There were times when we were very tired, but our director was still cheerful like an unextinguishable fire”. Nam Goong Min added, “His voice is very loud and strong”, drawing laughter. He then expressed admiration for writer Hwang Jin Young’s detailed script. The writer replied by complimenting Nam Goong Min, saying “He has everything. He’s attentive and meticulous while acting but cheerful and humorous behind the scenes”.
Nam Goong Min also praised his co-star Ahn Eun Jin’s acting. He said, “Ahn Eun Jin has a great attitude toward acting and she has good concentration”. The actor also complained about the difficulties during the filming process, saying “The action scenes using knives were not easy at all. I was afraid that others would get hurt”.
Lastly, Nam Goong Min gave a hint on “My Dearest Part 2”, saying, “I hope Part 2 starts airing soon. It will have more interesting and beautiful love stories than Part 1. I just want to tell you about them right away. Please wait a little bit and I promise that Part 2 won’t disappoint you”. Ahn Eun Jin added, “We worked very hard on the set. Your love and support give us the strength to continue filming. You’ll be able to watch Part 2 soon”.
Meanwhile, MBC’s Fri-Sat “My Dearest” wrapped up Part 1 after releasing episode 10 and achieved high viewer ratings. Part 2 is scheduled to air in October.
