Nam Goong Min dismissed “My Dearest” controversy “Thank you for your concern”

“My Dearest” Part 1 ended. The breakup of Ahn Eun Jin and Nam Goong Min as well as the appearance of Lee Chung Ah are drawing attention.

On Sep 2nd, MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “My Dearest” Part 1 ended. The drama ended with the highest viewership rating of 12.2% nationwide, boasting growing topicality.

Part 1 concluded with a heart-wrenching ending. Gil Chae has received a marriage proposal from an arranged suitor, but it is unclear if she has actually been married yet. Notably, in the closing scene, Jang Hyun accidentally encounters a woman who specializes in hunting slaves (played by Lee Chung Ah). This character is likely to play a crucial role in Part 2.

After Part 1’s final episode aired, viewers left numerous comments reflecting their confusion and even disappointment with this ending.

Accordingly, on Sep 3rd, actor Nam Goong Min directly came forward to explain. He posted a video of Gil Chae and Jang Hyun’s love scenes and wrote, “Thank you for all your love, interest and concern ♥ I’ll definitely repay you with the beautiful love story of Jang Hyun and Gil Chae.”

Netizens are expressing expectations for Part 2 through comments such as “I feel relieved thanks to the last sentence“, “I was worried.
