Moon Chae-won has personally addressed bizarre rumors surrounding her, including claims that she allegedly appeared on set without washing her hair and suffered from bad breath.
The actress directly confronted the long-running gossip in a newly uploaded video titled “Moon Chae-won YouTube OPEN: Rumors, Recent Updates, Even Marriage Stories” on her official YouTube channel.
During the video, Moon Chae-won openly discussed several rumors that have circulated online over the years. One of the first topics mentioned was the claim that she supposedly came to filming sets without shampooing her hair.
Reacting with disbelief, the actress said: “How could I possibly go to a filming set without washing my hair?”
She then explained where she believed the rumor originated. “There was a TV program where reporters gathered and talked about celebrity rumors. Someone mentioned that there was a ‘pure-image actress’ who came to set without washing her hair. Since I was very active at the time, I think people assumed it was me.”
To humorously clear up the rumors, the production team unexpectedly brought out a scalp magnifying device during filming. Moon Chae-won willingly showed her scalp condition on camera, and the staff reacted by saying her pores looked clean.
However, the surprises did not stop there.
The production crew then brought up another rumor regarding bad breath and even prepared a breath measurement device for the actress to use on camera.
Clearly embarrassed but laughing, Moon Chae-won asked: “Am I really supposed to do this here?”
After nervously taking the test, the result came back as “0.”
The actress burst into laughter and said: “I’m tearing up. Honestly, I didn’t even expect a zero.”
When a second test also returned a “0” result, both Moon Chae-won and the staff were left shocked, turning the moment into one of the funniest highlights of the video.
The actress also recreated her famous “Hey, give it to me” cute moment from Running Man, which previously became a hot topic among fans.
