Modhaus girl group TripleS is allegedly under “restrictive measures” that prevent their broadcast appearances

Girl group TripleS is reportedly under “restrictive forces” preventing them from making more music show appearances.

On May 5th, TripleS’s agency, Modhaus, released an announcement addressing the current situation of their girl group. They stated that TripleS is having a hard time looking for opportunities to perform on weekly music shows. According to the company, their newly debuted unit +(KR)ystal Eyes but has not had much chance to showcase their talents.

In the statement, the company said, “We know very well that WAVs are lashing out at us in frustration out of affection, not spite. We are carefully paying attention to your concerns with gratitude. We would like to inform you of some issues that WAVs must be curious about”.

The company continued, “+(KR)ystal Eyes had initially planned to carry out active promotions on all music programs for approximately 3 weeks, just like the previous unit. However, although +(KR)ystal Eyes just debuted this week, the unit has no more schedules planned this week other than their appearance on ‘M! Countdown’”.

In addition, Modhaus said that they could not reveal more details as doing so would cause more trouble for them in the future. They only vaguely hinted that there were individuals and forces using “restrictive measures” against TripleS. Therefore, the company could not guarantee the girl group’s appearances on music shows in the near future.

Modhaus admitted that being a small, start-up company allowed them little power. However, they affirmed that the challenge would only strengthen the company and TripleS.

Following the release of the statement, netizens speculate it may be Blockberry Creative (BBC) who was alluded to. Specifically, BBC previously announced they would file a request to the Korea Entertainment Management Association to hinder broadcast appearances of former LOONA members, including Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry. After filing for injunctions to suspend their respective exclusive contracts with BBC, the four members joined Modhaus.
