One of the most talked-about celebrity weddings of the year took place on June 2 as Victoria’s Secret model Ming Xi and entrepreneur Mario Ho officially celebrated their marriage with a lavish ceremony in France.
The wedding, themed “A Promise Fulfilled Right on Time,” marked a new chapter for the couple, who legally married in 2019 and have since built a family together with two children.

Held at the iconic Mont-Saint-Michel, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the ceremony quickly became one of the most-discussed events across Chinese social media.
According to photos circulating online, the venue was transformed into a luxurious floral wonderland filled with colorful fresh flower arrangements and elegant decorations befitting one of China’s most prominent billionaire families.

Ming Xi walked down the aisle in a minimalist white wedding gown paired with dazzling diamond jewelry and a classic updo topped with a long veil. The understated yet sophisticated look perfectly balanced the elegance expected of a wealthy family’s daughter-in-law while preserving the confidence and charisma that made her one of China’s top supermodels.
Mario Ho, meanwhile, looked sharp in a black suit accented with a white bow tie.

During the exchange of vows, Ming Xi became visibly emotional and reportedly struggled to hold back tears, creating one of the ceremony’s most touching moments.
The newlyweds openly displayed their affection throughout the ceremony, exchanging passionate kisses in front of family members, friends, and guests.

Adding to the emotional atmosphere, the couple’s two children participated in the wedding as junior attendants.
Photos showing the family together quickly went viral, with many netizens describing the images as looking “more beautiful than a movie scene.”
The wedding’s exclusivity extended beyond its venue and décor.
Photos from the celebration revealed a guest list featuring some of China’s most influential and affluent figures, including Olympic skiing star Eileen Gu, business heiress Tse Yin-rung, and socialite Lin Xinni.

Meanwhile, prominent figures who were unable to attend in person still sent congratulatory messages, including Zhang Zetian, wife of JD.com founder Liu Qiangdong, and Mario Ho’s half-sister Laurinda Ho.
Before the wedding ceremony, the couple hosted an intimate pre-wedding dinner for close friends and family.

The event generated headlines after Ming Xi appeared wearing an astonishing collection of high jewelry from Graff.
Her jewelry reportedly included: 30.73-carat diamond earrings, 66.26-carat diamond bracelet and 7.1-carat oval diamond ring.

Combined, the diamonds totaled approximately 103.7 carats and were estimated by Chinese media to be worth around 49 million yuan (approximately USD 6.8 million).
The supermodel completed the look with a custom ice-blue haute couture gown and luxury accessories from Dior.

Ming Xi and Mario Ho’s love story has fascinated the public for years.
The couple married in July 2019 following a highly publicized proposal featuring 99,999 roses. Since then, they have welcomed a son and a daughter.

Mario Ho, the son of businesswoman Angela Leong and late casino magnate Stanley Ho, is widely known for his academic achievements. He excelled in mathematics competitions, received offers from both Oxford University and MIT, and ultimately graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before returning to Asia to pursue his business career.
After seven years of marriage, two children, and countless public appearances together, the couple’s long-awaited wedding celebration has become one of the most extravagant celebrity events of 2026.
