“Marry My Husband” Male Lead: Fancy On-screen, Minimalist in Real Life

Thanks to the resounding success of the TV series “Marry My Husband“, topics related to the male lead (played by actor Na In-woo) have garnered significant attention from the audience. Recently, on the morning of February 4, the actor’s residence became a trending topic on South Korean social media. In stark contrast to the glamorous house depicted in “Marry My Husband,” the real-life dwelling of Na In-woo is remarkably simple.

In particular, it is known that Na In-woo has a preference for a minimalist lifestyle, and his apartment is almost bare, featuring only essential items like a TV, computer, and refrigerator. In the variety show “2 Days And 1 Night”, the actor mentioned that he sits on the floor to eat and watch TV, eliminating the need for dining tables and chairs. Na In-woo also dedicates an entire room for clothes but only buys around a dozen outfits to wear throughout the year.

In reality, the apartment of the male lead of “Marry My Husband” has very few belongings, only essential items like a TV and a computer.

On the contrary, in the TV series, Na In-woo plays the role of Yoo Ji-hyuk, the heir of a wealthy family. It’s easy to notice that the residence of Yoo Ji-hyuk is filled with various items.

According to Na In-woo, he always sits on the floor to eat and watch TV, hence having no intention to invest in a dining table. Witnessing the simplicity of their colleague’s home, the cast of “2 Days And 1 Night” exclaimed, “The apartment is completely empty, there’s nothing for us to explore.”

Na In-woo also keeps minimal food in his refrigerator.

The heartthrob dedicates a whole room for clothes, but he only buys around a dozen outfits to wear throughout the year.

Na In-woo doesn’t invest in a glass cabinet to preserve memorabilia. Instead, he places these items on the floor.

Na In-woo’s every move has recently been attracting public attention and interest.

Originally trained to become an idol singer at JYP, yet Na In-woo realized he wasn’t suited for the idol path, and decided to shift to musical acting. In 2014, he officially debuted as an actor through the TV series “Glorious Day.”

However, it took six years for the actor to gain attention with his impressive role in the sensational drama “Mr. Queen.” This year, Na In-woo has become a phenomenon, embraced by global audiences thanks to the resounding success of “Marry My Husband.”
