As the release of Jung Joon-young approaches, Ex-BIGBANG’s Seungri and Ex-HIGHLIGHT Yong Junhyung, known as ‘Jung Joon-young’s chat room friends,’ are gradually resuming their activities

Jung Joon-young was arrested in January 2016 for the suspicion of group sexual assault of a woman twice under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to five years in prison and is currently serving his sentence, with a scheduled release on March 20.

Former FT Island member Choi Jong-hoon recently opened a channel named ‘HUNIYA’ on the Japanese fan community site Fanicon.

Choi Jong-hoon expressed, “I greet you after about 5 years. I was able to show a healthy appearance thanks to the strength I received from each of your messages. I hope to communicate a lot with you through ‘HUNIYA.'”

He also added, “I want to show you everything about what I want to do in the future and my personal life. Please support me so I can create a bright future with all of you.”

Choi Jong-hoon was sentenced to prison in January and March 2016 for the group sexual assault of a woman while intoxicated.

Despite receiving a 5-year sentence in the first trial, he was granted a reduction to 2 years and 6 months due to an agreement with the victim. He was released in November 2021.

Yong Junhyung

On January 18th, Yong Junhyung and HyunA each posted a photo holding hands on their respective Instagram.

Regarding this, their agencies said, “It is difficult to confirm the artist’s private life,” and did not affirm or deny the dating rumor.

Yong Junhyung

In response to various speculations, Yong Junhyung announced to his fans, “You were probably surprised by the sudden news. I hope you watch over me nicely as I receive static energy and live well.” He directly admitted to the relationship.

However, fans’ reactions are cold because Yong Junhyung was involved in the past Jung Joon-young’s hidden camera scandal. At that time, Yong Junhyung denied the controversy but reversed his position after three days.

Seungri

Seungri, a former member of BIGBANG involved in the ‘Burning Sun’ scandal, was captured enjoying various parties and a luxurious lifestyle after his release.

Seungri, a key figure in the Burning Sun gate in Gangnam in late 2018, was indicted on a total of nine charges, including habitual gambling, violating the law on the punishment of prostitution, and the law on the punishment of specific economic crimes (embezzlement). He was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison.

After completing his sentence, Seungri was released in February last year. He was also embroiled in suspicion of traveling with two women in Bali.

On January 23rd, he was criticized for saying, “I will bring G-Dragon here someday” at an overseas event.

Eddy Kim

Eddy Kim, who received a suspended indictment for the past charge of distributing explicit content, made a comeback on January 23rd with the new song ‘Track by Yoon: It will be okay.’

Eddy Kim

It has been five years since he released the OST ‘Perhaps Love’ for tvN’s drama ‘Memories of the Alhambra’ in January 2019. This was due to his suspended indictment for the charge of distributing explicit content in 2019.

The prosecution stated that Eddy Kim’s distribution was a one-time incident, and considering his deep reflection, they issued a suspended indictment in March of last year.

Eddy Kim’s agency, apologized, saying, “While Eddy Kim did not personally film or distribute illegal filmed videos, it was confirmed that he uploaded a captured image online. During the investigation, it was also confirmed that the KakaoTalk chat room Eddy Kim participated in was unrelated to the problematic chat room that shared illegal videos, but a separate chat room formed as a hobby.
