On January 18th, HyunA unexpectedly posted on Instagram a photo of herself holding hands with a young man. She also tagged Junhyung’s account, implicitly indicating that the young man is the former member of BEAST/HIGHLIGHT.
Along with the photo, she left an emoji 👩❤️👨, seemingly indicating that the two idols are in a relationship. HyunA also left a comment: “Please look upon us kindly.”
Junhyung later also shared the same photo via his official account.
Following HyunA’s post on SNS, Junhyung’s agency BlackMade Entertainment gave an announcement, saying that they are checking if the two are dating.
HyunA and Junhyung collaborated in 2009 on HyunA’s solo debut song Change. Junhyung was the featured rapper. Both are former CUBE Entertainment artists.
Meanwhile, HyunA announced her breakup with her long-time boyfriend, Dawn, at the end of 2022. Fans believe that the female idol has moved on from her past relationship and started a new chapter with Junhyung.
