The agency of LOONA has addressed the various speculations raised against it after this agency announced Chuu’s departure from the group.
On Nov 28th, Blockberry Creative, LOONA‘s agency, announced an additional position on the official fan cafe regarding the expulsion of Chuu from LOONA.
On Nov 25th, Blockberry Creative said in a notice that it has decided to expel Chuu from LOONA, saying, “We recently investigated after receiving reports regarding Chuu’s abuse of power, including abusive language toward our staff, and received the result that those reports are true.”
In an additional notice, Blockberry Creative emphasized, “That notice was intended to explain the current situation and ask for understanding from fans who have loved LOONA all this time, and it was not intended to expose Chuu’s power trip to the public.“
After the announcement, many demanded a further explanation about Chuu’s abuse of power, saying, “We want the agency to correct this controversial point.” Regarding this, the agency said, “It is just a natural process of explanation as we stated the cause of removing her from the team, but it is the job of Chuu and the staff who suffered from the power abuse to provide relevant facts and evidence.“
They added, “Regarding the related facts of this matter, if there is something unfair or needs to be corrected, the concerned parties themselves will have to bring it to light. Our company had already confirmed what happened between Chuu and the staff, so we posted the announcement related to it. If Chuu and the victim both agree, we will cooperate in providing relevant contents and evidence in relation to the abusive language and power trip.“
Finally, they asked, “Please refrain from spreading groundless and speculative information so that LOONA members can continue their team activities without being affected by this incident.”
