Lim Ji Yeon takes viewers by surprise with a shockingly unexpected image in “The Killing Vote.”
Lim Ji Yeon recently returned to the drama scene with SBS’ “The Killing Vote.” Apart from the suspenseful, thrilling plot, audiences are captivated by a brand-new, unexpected image of the actress. “The Glory” star also gave a surprise dance performance to a well-known TikTok sound.
In “The Killing Vote,” Lim Ji Yeon transforms into Joo Hyeon, a police officer reaching her fifth year at the Cyber Safety Bureau of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. In the first episode, Joo Hyeon went undercover as a broadcast personality infiltrating an illegal racket where women were coerced into making videos of themselves. Thanks to Joo Hyeon, Kim Moo Chan (Park Hae Jin), head of Team 1 of the Southern Provincial Police Agency’s regional investigation unit, was able to locate the racket and rescue the women who were held captive.
While tension built up as Kim Moo Chan followed the clues given by Joo Hyeon, viewers were entertained by Lim Ji Yeon’s awkward dancing. The “Lies Hidden in My Garden” star’s silly dance moves drew positive affection from audiences, showing another aspect of herself onscreen.
“The Killing Vote” achieved a 4.1% rating for the first episode, partly due to unexpected airing schedule change. Nonetheless, the crime investigating elements in the series is receiving applause from the audience. They were fascinated with its compelling start and diverse characters with different personalities and stories. Hopefully, the drama can gain more attention with future episodes.
