Lia Kim responds to controversy over stealing Sunmi’s “Gashina” choreography: “I created it myself”
Sunmi’s “Gashina” choreography dispute erupts on “Street Woman Fighter.”
On August 29th, on Mnet’s ‘Street Woman Fighter 2‘, the ‘No Respect Designation Battle’ continued among the 8 dance crews and the ‘Ace Battle’ also continued.
Lia Kim and Mina Myoung had a face-off on the stage, putting their long-standing feud behind them. In this episode it was brought up by Mina Myoung that Tina, not Lia Kim, was the choreographer for Sunmi’s hit song ‘Gashina’. She claimed there were issues regarding the choreography draft.
Lia Kim said, “Tina, as the assistant choreographer, participated in the ‘Gashina’ choreography and taught the draft dancers. I think people misunderstood after seeing that.“
She emphasized, “I can confirm that I created the ‘Gashina’ choreography myself and taught it.”
Previously, Mina Myoung said, “This wasn’t Lia Kim’s choreography; it was Tina who choreographed it.” In response, Lia Kim exclaimed, “You’re saying this kind of thing?” showing her anger.
