Kakao webtoon “She Is My Type,” which was evaluated as a “legendary work” by many, will be remade into a drama.
On Jun 30th, the production company By4M Studio announced that it has decided to make Kakao webtoon “She Is My Type” into a live-action drama.
“She Is My Type” is a work by Rose Ong and has been serialized on Kakao Webtoon since April 2018.
The webtoon continuously ranked No. 1 in weekly views and No. 1 in the romance genre for three years among Kakao webtoon series.
She Is My Type” depicts the secret life of living together between Chanyeol, who is secretly working as a beauty YouTuber under a different name to avoid the gaze of others, and Haedam, who falls for her senior Ho-chan at first sight on the first day of admission.
Completed in December last year, “My Type” currently has a cumulative view of 340 million views on Kakao Webtoon.
No schedule or information on the cast is yet known.
While Kakao Entertainment gained explosive popularity by turning the webtoon “Business Proposal” into a live-action, attention is being paid to whether “She Is My Type” will be able to follow that success.
