Rapper-broadcaster Lee Young-ji announced her retirement after a web entertainment broadcast with BTS Jin.
Jin appeared in the last episode of the web entertainment show “My Alcohol Diary”, which was released on Oct 20th.
The host Lee Young-ji was drunk after drinking 58-degree alcohol from the start. In particular, she became so drunk that she could not even control her body while drinking again and again as a penalty after losing games with Jin. At the end of the broadcast, she disappeared saying she would go to the bathroom to puke and fell asleep in 10 minutes.
Jin grumbled, “That’s funny. Young-ji, let’s film again tomorrow. How can someone sleep in 10 minutes?”
He continued, “Then I’ll end it. So the filming of ‘My Alcohol Diary’ ended like this. Our young friend is very drunk right now. So she fell asleep. We will now wrap it up with Young-ji sleeping there and me going back home. ‘My Alcohol Diary’ will enter the resting period now. Thank you for giving much support and love for ‘My Alcohol Diary’.”
Lee Young-ji left a comment on the video and apologized for passing the ending to Jin. She wrote, “I’m really sorry. I’ll retire as of today.” In response, Jin joked through the fan platform Weverse, “Please tell her that I’m rooting for her retirement.”
Meanwhile, Jin is about to release his solo single “The Astronaut”. “The Astronaut” is a song created in collaboration with the band Coldplay. Jin will cancel the request to delay enlistment after the release of the single and start preparing for his enlistment.
