On November 26, the YouTube channel “Entertainment President Lee Jin Ho” uploaded a video titled “Shocking Exclusive! The Real Reason I Spoke Out – The First Confession from the German Woman Who Accused Lee Yi Kyung.”

In the video, Lee Jin Ho interviewed a woman identified only as “A,” who previously claimed to have had personal interactions with Lee Yi Kyung. When asked how their communication began, she responded, “It started in February last year. I messaged him first after watching his drama because I found him interesting. I was surprised when he replied.” She added, “He didn’t believe I was German and asked for photos.”

After her initial posts alleging sexual misconduct, Lee Yi Kyung’s agency strongly denied the accusations, labeling them false and announcing legal action. A then reversed her claims, attributing them to “AI manipulation” and issuing an apology. Explaining this sudden change, she said, “A Korean acquaintance told me it would all blow over in two weeks if I posted it that way and that I wouldn’t suffer any consequences.” She later admitted, “But after seeing messages from people online, I realized it could hurt actual victims. I didn’t want that burden on my conscience.”

Currently, Lee Yi Kyung has filed a lawsuit against A for defamation. When asked about the legal proceedings, A replied, “I’m waiting to see what happens. I haven’t received any official documents yet.” She added, “I don’t plan to post anything more. I just want everything to quiet down. I do regret my actions.” When asked if she had anything to say to Lee Yi Kyung, she said, “I’m sorry for causing such a big issue.”

A had previously claimed on October 19 that Lee Yi Kyung requested explicit photos and sexually harassed her, but her frequent changes in statement drew public skepticism. Regarding this, Lee Yi Kyung’s agency Sangyoung ENT filed a defamation suit, stating, “The damage to the actor and agency has been severe. We will respond firmly without leniency, regardless of how long it takes.”

Lee Yi Kyung also broke his silence, stating, “I was overcome with frustration every moment. Someone claiming to be a German kept appearing and disappearing, sending threatening emails to the company months ago. The company calmed me down, saying we had no reason to engage in a public truth battle over falsehoods.”

Reportedly, a search and seizure warrant has been issued against A. Police have secured personal data from her Naver and X (formerly Twitter) accounts as part of the ongoing investigation.
