Lee Yi-kyung Proves He’s Not A Bad Guy In Real Life Through Warm Stories On “My Little Old Boy”

Actor Lee Yi-kyung will make a guest appearance on SBS’s entertainment program “My Little Old Boy”

Unlike the enthusiastic welcome every time a special MC or guest shows up, “My Little Old Boy” mothers poured criticism upon seeing Lee Yi-kyung, saying “The bad guy”, “The baddest among the bad guys”, etc.

Lee Yi-kyung recently became “National Bad Guy” for his realistic portrayal of a bad husband who has an affair with his wife’s best friend in tvN’s drama “Marry My Husband”. The actor shared, “90% of people I met these days had the same reaction”, adding that a neighbor suddenly made violent remarks toward him. As such, viewers are curious about the full story.

During the recording, Lee Yi-kyung showcased his unexpected charms, which are different from his image in the drama, drawing admiration from “My Little Old Boy” mothers. MC Shin Dong-yeop introduced Lee Yi-kyung as a person who takes great care of the people around him and told the story of the actor giving 100 million won to his military friend who suffered financial difficulties and helped them open a chicken restaurant. Through various warm stories, viewers will be able to understand the “real Lee Yi-kyung”.

Meanwhile, Lee Yi-kyung surprised everyone when he confessed, “I did not turn on the boiler throughout this winter”. After enduring the cold winter with the special method he learned from his father, a former director at a conglomerate group, the actor revealed an anecdote that he paid only 20,000 won for gas per month. Hearing the story, Kim Jong-kook’s mother commented, “My son is not that thrifty”.

The new episode will air at 9:05 p.m. on February 18th.
