On November 4, a representative from SANGYOUNG ENT stated, “Lee Yi-kyung is leaving Hangout With Yoo due to scheduling conflicts with his ongoing film project. However, he will remain active in both I’m Solo and Brave Detectives.”
The agency explained that the decision stemmed from the weekly recording demands of Hangout With Yoo, which became difficult to maintain while juggling film shoots. “It was a tough call,” the representative added. “But since I’m Solo and Brave Detectives only film monthly, he will continue those without interruption.”
Notably, Lee Yi-kyung participated in the recent I’m Solo studio recording on November 3, marking his first appearance after being embroiled in private life rumors.

Previously, Lee became the subject of online speculation when an individual known as “A” posted alleged sexually explicit messages exchanged with him via Instagram DMs and KakaoTalk. As the controversy escalated, the poster later admitted, “It started as a joke. I never imagined it would gain so much attention. I began using AI-generated photos and posts, and at some point, I convinced myself it was real,” eventually offering a public apology.
In response, SANGYOUNG ENT firmly denied the accusations and stated, “Through legal representation, we have submitted evidence to Gangnam Police Station and officially filed complaints for defamation and spreading false information.” The agency emphasized, “There have been no attempts at settlement or compensation, nor will there be any in the future.”
While Lee Yi-kyung is adjusting his schedule to accommodate film commitments, his continued presence in other popular reality shows reassures fans that he remains actively engaged in the entertainment scene.
