Lee Na-eun, who was thought to have collapsed due to bullying allegations, delivered a surprise news
Former April member Lee Na-eun is preparing to turn into an actress.
YTN star reported on April 28th, “Lee Na-eun contacted Namoo Actors, to which Lee Joon-gi, Park Eun-bin and Seohyun belong.”
Namoo Actors said in an interview with YTN star on the same day, “It is true that we recently made contact with Lee Na-eun. However, nothing has been decided yet.”
In the past, Lee Na-eun showed an impressive performance by playing the role of Yeo Joo-da in MBC’s drama “Extraordinary You”. Afterwards, she was cast as the heroine Ahn Go-eun in SBS’ drama “Taxi Driver” in 2021, but had to drop out due to bullying allegations. She was replaced by actress Pyo Ye-jin.
Earlier, it was revealed in February last year that former April member Lee Hyun-joo made an extreme attempt after being bullied during group activities. The agency issued an official position denying the disclosure. However, after the controversy erupted, some members, including Lee Na-eun, dropped out of a number of advertisements and dramas as well as stopped all activities.
Later on January 28th, DSP Media, April‘s agency, announced the group’s disbandment through its official website, “We and the members decided to disband the team and go our separate ways after a long discussion and consideration.”
