Actor Lee Yi Kyung and singer Lee Mi Joo decorated the opening stage of 2022 MBC Entertainment Awards with a kissing performance.
On December 29th, the 2022 MBC Entertainment Awards was held in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event, which was broadcasted live, featured famous host Jun Hyun Moo, actor Lee Yi Kyung, and Davichi member Kang Min Kyung as MCs.
In addition, Lee Yi Kyung performed an opening stage with former Lovelyz member and entertainer Lee Mi Joo. The two, who collaborated on the TV program “Hangout with Yoo”, drew attention with an on-screen love line which they claimed was “purely business”. Together, they brought to life a stage of “Trouble Maker”, which is originally sung by HyunA and Jang Hyun Seung, and took the crowd by complete surprise.
Seeing the performance, “Hangout with Yoo” cast members Yoo Jae Suk, Jung Jun Ha, Haha, Shin Bong Sun, and Park Jin Joo laughed brightly and shouted cheers. Finally, as the performance concluded, Lee Yi Kyung and Lee Mi Joo posed as if they were kissing, invoking explosive reactions from the audience.
The 2022 MBC Broadcasting Entertainment Awards is a ceremony aimed to honor the best TV programs which aired during the year at MBC, as well as participating entertainers. In 2021, “Hangout with Yoo” and Yoo Jae Suk were named as winners for the Entertainment Program of the Year award and the Grand Prize, respectively. This year, “I Live Alone” and Jun Hyun Moo are predicted to be new winners.
