Lee Kwang-soo Appears On SBS Show Hosted By Yoo Jae-suk 2 Years After Leaving “Running Man”
Actor Lee Kwang-soo will appear in an entertainment program on SBS for the first time after withdrawing from “Running Man”
On March 29th, Star News reported that Lee Kwang-soo will be the first guest of SBS’s new entertainment program “When There’s A Chance (literal title)”, scheduled to release the first episode on May 23rd.
PD Choi Bo-pil, who used to direct “Running Man”, and writer Chae Jin-ah of Netflix’s original program “Siren: Survive the Island”, joined hands to create this program. As the follow-up show of “Strong Heart VS”, “When There’s A Chance” will air every Tuesday at 10:20 p.m.
“When There’s A Chance” is a road variety show that shows good luck in moments of our daily lives. Broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk and actor Yoo Yeon-seok will appear as co-MCs.
Lee Kwang-soo makes his appearance as the first guest to support his close colleagues Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok. In particular, Lee Kwang-soo is also arousing attention as he will appear on an SBS entertainment show for the first time since his withdrawal from “Running Man” in 2021.
Meanwhile, Lee Kwang-soo started as an original member of “Running Man” in 2010 and was active on the show for 11 years. After a car incident in 2020 that resulted in a fractured ankle, he felt burdened to continue joining the members and decided to drop out to focus on his acting activities.
Later, Lee Kwang-soo met Yoo Jae-suk again in Disney+’s program “The Zone: Survival Mission 1&2” and Netflix’s “Korea No.1”.
