Actor Lee Jung Jae, who was suspected of being involved in former BIGBANG member T.O.P’s casting for “Squid Game 2”, drew a line firmly.
The agency said, “We would like to express our position on reports related to actor Lee Jung Jae’s ‘Squid Game 2’ casting. Some reports that actor Lee Jung Jae was involved in the casting for ‘Squid Game 2‘ are not true.”
They denied the suspicion, “The casting for the work is the responsibility of the director and the production company. In particular, actor Lee Jung Jae knows more than anyone else that many actors work hard to appear in ‘Squid Game 2’ and the cast is decided through auditions.”
The agency emphasized, “Therefore, we would like to say once again that actor Lee Jung Jae was not involved in the casting for ‘Squid Game 2’.“
Earlier, an entertainment media outlet reported that Lee Jung Jae, who is one of T.O.P’s close friends in the entertainment industry, influenced T.O.P’s appearance in “Squid Game 2”.
