Lee Jung-jae draws attention as he mentioned his lover Im Se-ryeong in the “thanks to” part of “Hunt” ending credit

Actor Lee Jung-jae, who is about to make his debut as a director through the movie “Hunt”, expressed affection for his lover Im Se-ryung, the vice chairman of Daesang Group.

The press conference for the movie “Hunt” (director Lee Jung-jae) was held at COEX Megabox in Samsung-dong, Seoul on the afternoon of July 27th.

“Hunt” is an action movie is an action drama in which Park Pyong-ho (Lee Jung-jae) and Kim Jung-do (Jung Woo-sung), who suspect each other and find the spy hidden in their agency, face a huge incident called “Korea’s No.1 assassination operation”. 

A special ‘thanks to’ part was added at the end of ending credit of “Hunt”, which was pre-released to the media on this day, saying “The director-producer is especially thankful to the following people”. The names of Jeon Hye-jin’s husband – actor Lee Sun-kyun, and Lee Jung-jae’s lover Im Se-ryeong who is the vice chairman of Daesang Group were seen on the list. The credit line showing Lee Jung-jae’s affection for his lover is attracting keen attention.

Vice chairman Im also accompanied her lover Lee Jung-jae on his debut as a director at the Cannes Film Festival. In the first screening of “Hunt”, she appeared in a yellow dress and was spotted smiling brightly and clapping from the audience seat.  

Lee Jung-jae worked hard not only as the producer and director but also starred in the film as the lead actor. As a result, “Hunt”, which was invited to the non-competitive Midnight Screening section at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, has continued to be a hot topic ahead of its official release in Korea. 

“Hunt” will premiere on August 10th.
