Lee Joo Hee wins the 2022 Super Model Contest, “I will become the world’s best model and reach beyond Korea”
The winner of this year’s Super Model Contest is revealed.
The 2022 Super Model Contest was held in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on September 29th. The 21 contestants who made it to the finale through preliminary rounds showed off their talents by delivering various performances.
Through the heated competition, Lee Joo Hee, Song Hye Won, and Jang Chan Gun became the top three finalists. In the end, the grand prize belonged to Lee Joo Hee, who majors in modeling at a university.
During her acceptance speech, Lee Joo Hee could not hide her tears. Holding the trophy, she said, “I am grateful to my parents for giving birth to me. I also want to express my gratitude to the officials who worked hard for the competition. I will always be a model who gives my best effort and become the best model in the world beyond Korea.”
The Super Model Contest, which marks its 29th anniversary this year, has produced numerous superstars leading Korea’s fashion and entertainment industry, such as Lee Hyun Yi, Lee So Ra, Joo Jeong Eun, Lee Sun Jin, Han Ye Seul, Han Ji Hye, and Lee Sung Kyung.
