Lee Hyo-ri’s Effect Expected To Continue As She Becomes Pulmuone’s First Celebrity CF Model

Pulmuone draws attention for choosing singer Lee Hyo-ri as the first celebrity to be their brand main face

According to reports in the entertainment industry on December 16th, Pulmuone recently selected Lee Hyo-ri as the model for Pulmuone Earth Diet campaign with sustainable food products.

This is the first time Pulmuone recruited a celebrity as advertising model since its establishment in 1984. In this regard, the brand explained, “We did not use any specific model because we value our image of an ‘authentic food company’”, adding “We believe that we could maximize the synergy of Earth Diet campaign, which was launched with the slogan ‘For me, for Earth’, in terms of values and images with Lee Hyo-ri, who leads a sustainable lifestyle.”

As Lotte On and Reebok quickly took Lee Hyo-ri right after she returned to the advertising world and enjoyed “Lee Hyo-ri’s Effect”, Pulmuone is also expected to earn many benefits with the female singer as their model.

In the case of Lotte On, its average monthly sales increased by 30% over the two months from October to November after launching their first advertising campaign with Lee Hyo-ri. During that time, the number of customers also increased by 10%. 

Sports brand Reebok also soared in sales by introducing the new “pump padding” products modeled by Lee Hyo-ri. In particular, the number of pump paddings sold within 3 weeks was equivalent to the three-month sales of its main product Club C short padding.

Meanwhile, Lee Hyo-ri once declared that she would not do CFs more than a decade ago but changed her mind recently in July and received more than 100 advertisement offers.
