Lee Hyo-ri Suddenly Announced She Will Set Up Personal Label Like BLACKPINK’s Jennie In February?

In the afternoon of January 2, the first recording of KBS2’s “The Seasons – Lee Hyo-ri’s Red Carpet” was done at the KBS New Hall in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie appeared as the first guest of the show, surprising everyone. “I saw an article recently about you establishing your own label,” Lee asked.

Earlier, Jennie drew attention by announcing the establishment of her personal label OA (ODDATELIE) for solo activities, apart from re-signing with YG Entertainment for BLACKPINK’s group activities.

Upon hearing this, Lee said, “Congratulations and I’ll root for you.” “Being in a large fence gives you a sense of security and support, but you can also feel frustrated. However, it takes a lot of courage to get out of the nest,” Jennie responded. “I learned a lot from the company I worked with since the beginning of my trainee years. Over the past few years, I’ve been asking myself a lot about ‘Can I do it alone?'” she said. “I decided after gathering my courage and thinking about it.”

Lee Hyo-ri said, “Are you only doing group activities with your former company?” and added, “I think there will be some upsetting aspects. A breakup is always a sad thing.” Jennie said, “Everyone is doing so well. I’ll do my best because my company has just been opened and I’m just about to bump into new things.”

Lee asked, “Can you train other artists?” and Jennie said, “Actually, I’ve never dreamed of such a thing. It was fun to start this company. After imagining it, I thought about it. But I’ll take care of artist Jennie first, and if good things happen in the future,” leaving open the possibility. Lee said, “My contract with the ATTENA ends in February, so I’ll try setting up my new company as well.”

Meanwhile, “The Seasons – Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet” will premiere at 11:20 p.m. on the 5th.
