Lee Han Byul gets cast in “Mask Girl” through a 1000:1 audition & impresses “Mask Girl” original authors
Rookie actress Lee Han Byul draws attention by boasting a 200% synchronization with the original webtoon version.
Released on August 18th, Netflix’s “Mask Girl” tells about Kim Mo Mi, an officer worker with an appearance complex who works as an Internet broadcasting BJ covering her face with a mask every night, getting caught up in an unintended incident.
The original Naver webtoon “Mask Girl” by authors Mae Mi and Hee Se was famous for its unexpected developments, unique characters, and intense messages. It has been reborn as a drama in the hands of director Kim Yong Hoon, who gained recognition for his directing skills through “Beasts Clawing at Straws”.
On the release date of “Mask Girl”, Netflix also unveiled messages from the original authors Mae Mi and Hee Se. The two writers said they were impressed by the actors’ acting performances and showed their support for the drama version, raising high expectations from fans of the original webtoon and global Netflix viewers.
