LE SSERAFIM’s debut is receiving attention from Japan’s leading broadcasters 

HYBE’s new girl group LE SSERAFIM is gaining interest from locals in Japan for their debut. 

Major Japanese broadcasters have been showing much interest in the debut of LE SSERAFIM. The rookie girl group was officially launched on May 2nd by releasing their first mini-album “FEARLESS”.

On the same day, popular Japanese programs such as Fuji TV’s “Mezamashi TV”, Nippon’s TV “ZIP!”, TBS’s “THE TIME”, and Nagoya TV’s “Dodeska!” reported on LE SSERAFIM’s debut and introduced them as the first girl group launched through the collaboration between HYBE and its affiliated label Source Music. The group’s outstanding achievements with their debut album “FEARLESS” were also presented, emphasizing that LE SSERAFIM is “a group with a different class”. Japanese broadcasters also complimented the group’s perfect visual combination and performance of the six members.

LE SSERAFIM is attracting keen attention in the Japanese music market with their debut album “FEARLESS”. “FEARLESS” topped the Album Daily Chart of Mora, a major Japanese music site, for two consecutive days, on May 2nd and 3rd. Moreover, it also ranked 1st place on Recochoku’s Album Chart.

In addition, their debut title track “FEARLESS” entered Japan’s Spotify TOP 200 at No.161 on the first day of its release then rose 107 spots to reach No.54 on May 3rd, a day later. The song is receiving so much love from local fans as it also ranked 4th place on the Japan LINE MUSIC’s Daily Top Song Chart for two days, May 3rd and 4th.

On May 9th, LE SSERAFIM, which has gained great popularity right after debut, will appear on TBC’s CDTV Live! Live!” and showcase the performance of their debut song “FEARLESS”.
