In a groundbreaking journey, the South Korean group LE SSERAFIM embarked on their inaugural group visit to the United States at the close of 2023. The ensemble graced the cities of New York and Los Angeles as part of their promotional tour for the much-anticipated English single, “Perfect Night.”
Amidst their promotional activities, the group made a notable stop at LA’s 102.7 KIIS FM for an interview hosted by American radio personality JoJo Wright.
The recently released interview provided insights into various aspects of LE SSERAFIM’s journey, including their collaboration on the single “Perfect Night” for the video game Overwatch 2, their encounter with basketball icon Magic Johnson, current projects, and more.
Notably, the group shared anecdotes from their time spent in New York, particularly with Yunjin’s family, who resides in the city. LE SSERAFIM confirmed that Yunjin’s mother continues to send care packages to the members regularly. Upon Yunjin’s return home, her mother had prepared thoughtful gift bags, reflecting the strong familial bond.
JoJo Wright, known not only for his radio presence but also for his interest in the paranormal, delved into the supernatural during the interview. He probed the group about their encounters with ghosts, prompting Yunjin to reveal a personal experience from her time living in New York.
According to Yunjin, her family moved into an apartment previously occupied by an elderly resident who had passed away at home. In a chilling account, she recounted a night when she observed an apparition of a woman in her living room from the corner of her eye. However, upon turning to face the figure, it mysteriously vanished, leaving the chair empty.
Days later, Yunjin connected the dots and speculated that the ghost might have been the spirit of the apartment’s former resident. Lacking any photographic evidence of the previous occupant, she couldn’t confirm the identity but shared the eerie encounter during her second-grade years.
