“Fearless” LE SSERAFIM won Super Rookie and Best MV at the 2022 K Global Heart Dream Awards

LESSERAFIM took two trophies at the 2022 K Global Heart Dream Awards.

LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, Hong Eun-chae) won K Global Best Music Video and K Global Super Rookie at the “2022 K Global Heart Dream Awards”, which was held at Jamsil Student Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul on August 25th.

Giving an acceptance speech, LE SSERAFIM said, “We’re very happy and thankful knowing that what we challenged seems to be loved a lot. Above all, we will become singers that FEARNOTs (LE SSERAFIM’s fandom name), who are looking forward to us and supporting us in taking challenges, can be proud of”. “We will continue to be  ‘FEARLESS’ LE SSERAFIM”, the girl group expressed their strong ambition.

Releasing their first mini album “FEARLESS” on May 2nd, LE SSERAFIM won their first rookie award about four months after debuting, raising the public’s expectations for the girl group’s future moves.

Shortly after receiving the award, LE SSERAFIM performed their debut song “FEARLESS”. The girls wore racer costumes and drew enthusiastic responses from the audience by decorating the stage with their powerful performance and overwhelming group dance.

At the end of the ceremony, they also sang Michael Jackson’s “Heal the World” with other idols and singers to wrap up the event.

The “2022 K Global Heart Dream Awards” is an award ceremony to honor the hard work of artists and staff who have raised the status of Korea by promoting K-pop to the world. In addition, it’s also a festival held with the belief that all the artists who joined the event were daesang winners.

Meanwhile, according to the chart release on August 23rd (local time), LE SSERAFIM has charted on the U.S Billboard Chart for 16 consecutive weeks. With this achievement, LE SSERAFIM broke the record of being the group with the longest charting time on this chart among K-pop girl groups that debuted this year, proving their outstanding power and potential.
