LE SSERAFIM Sakura, “Hate comments, I didn’t really do anything wrong, what should I do?”
Sakura of the girl group LE SSERAFIM showed off her candid talk.
On the October 19th episode of a Naver NOW talk show, LE SSERAFIM Sakura, who recently made a comeback with the 2nd mini album “ANTIFRAGILE”, appeared as the twentieth guest and talked about various things.
On this day, Kang Ho Dong introduced Sakura as his ‘girlfriend‘. This is because there is a relationship where they worked together through Olive’s “Everyone’s Kitchen” in the past. Sakura and Kang Ho Dong greeted each other by saying, “Kura X Dong Cross”, and Kang Ho Dong sincerity by preparing a cake for Sakura.
Sakura and Kang Ho Dong then mentioned how they started being friends. In addition, Sakura also said, “In the past, I didn’t know how great Kang Ho Dong was.At that time, I thought he was an old and active man. But he appeared on TV more than I thought. Now I’m paying a lot of attention to it.”
Next, Sakura taught Kang Ho Dong, who speaks in dialect, how to pronounce “LE SSERAFIM” properly. At this, Kang Ho Dong jokingly said, “Have you ever been taught pronunciation by a foreigner? It’s not common.”
In the “question book” session, Sakura’s honest answer shone. The female idol told the candid story of her 3 debuts, as a member of Japanese girl group HKT48, IZ*ONE, and LE SSERAFIM, and also confessed the story of her heartache as a result.
About the challenge of participating in Mnet’s audition program “Produce 48” while promoting as HKT48, Sakura said, “I’m scared of challenges, but I came to Korea because I thought there would be something I could gain from taking that challenge.”
However, Sakura also confessed that she had to overcome the hardship caused by malicious comments through practice and said, “I had no natural talent, I only had the talent to work hard. In the past, it was very difficult to see malicious comments, but now I don’t care unless I really did something wrong. People only see things they want to see, so I’m like, ‘What do you want me to do?’”
Not only that, but Sakura recalled that she practiced 12 to 14 hours a day when she was a trainee and said, “It was hard for me to be Miyawaki Sakura at that time. It was a heavy name, and I felt different than people making their debut as complete strangers. It was difficult because I had to show a different side of me because I already showed a variety of sides.”
On the other hand, Sakura admitted, “But I think that good results come with pressure. I gained a lot from my trainee life, so after debuting, I have a lot to show, and I debuted thinking that this will be the last team in my life.”
Finally, in the “Just take a picture” corner, Sakura and Kang Ho Dong unveiled a dance challenge. The two danced to LE SSERAFIM’s “ANTIFRAGILE” and aroused admiration for their unexpected chemistry.
