“You looked like an old man who takes good care of his health”… Sakura reveals her first impression of Kang Ho-dong 

LE SSERAFIM Sakura recalled her first meeting with “male friend” Kang Ho-dong.

Sakura will guest on the broadcast of “Just Come Out”, which is scheduled to air on the evening of October 19th, through NAVER NOW. This is Sakura’s first solo talk show appearance.

During the recording, Kang Ho-dong introduced Sakura as his “Ho-dong’s first female friend”. However, Sakura drew a line by calling Kang Ho-dong “senior”.

As Kang Ho-dong got upset, Sakura immediately explained. She said, “In the past, I didn’t know you were such a big name”, adding “Back then, I just thought you were an energetic man. You looked like an old man who takes good care of his health”. 

Kang Ho-dong then asked, “Was I more famous than you expected?”, Sakura replied, “Totally. You did a lot of TV shows”. 

Kang Ho-dong and Sakura appeared together on Olive’s program “Everyone’s Kitchen” in 2018. At that time, Sakura just started her career in Korea as a member of IZ*ONE so she didn’t know many Korean celebrities.

Later, Kang Ho-dong and Sakura showed off their amazing chemistry on JTBC’s “Knowing Bros”. 

As the two will meet each other again after Sakura’s debut with LE SSERAFIM, fans are looking forward to seeing what they will show together. The broadcast of “Just Come Out” featuring Sakura will be released at 8 p.m today (October 19th).
