LE SSERAFIM proves unrivaled popularity in Japan.
On June 9th, LE SSERAFIM received a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) with its first full-length album “UNFORGIVEN” on May 1st. As of last May, shipments exceeded 100,000 copies.
The RIAJ certifies gold (over 100,000), platinum (over 250,000), and double platinum (over 500,000) every month depending on cumulative shipments of an artist or act’s singles and albums.
Earlier, LE SSERAFIM won three gold medals on Oricon’s Weekly Ranking. The group also topped the Weekly Album Ranking, Weekly Digital Album Ranking, and Weekly Combined Album Ranking.
LE SSERAFIM is also achieving massive success in the United States. The girl group charted on Billboard 200 for four consecutive weeks, the longest charting period for a fourth-generation K-pop girl group.
The Source Music girl group is also performing well internationally. On Spotify, LE SSERAFIM’s title track “UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers)” also entered at No. 15 and No. 10 in Weekly Top Songs in Singapore and Taiwan, respectively.
The b-side “Eve, Psyche and the Bluebeard’s Wife” stood at No. 15 among Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs.
