LE SSERAFIM Kim Chaewon Reflects on Tearful Moments Behind IU’s Concert Stage
Kim Chaewon, a member of the group LE SSERAFIM, expressed her affection for the singer IU
On the 10th, through the official fan platform Weverse, Kim Chaewon opened up, saying, “Today, I had the honor of being invited as a guest to IU sunbaenim’s concert.”
She continued, “Since I was young, IU sunbaenim has been someone I’ve looked up to, gaining strength and experiencing various emotions. I always wanted to meet her in person. To think that I would stand as a guest at her concert… I still can’t believe it.” She added, “Even though it was just for a moment, watching IU sunbaenim’s stage from behind before going up on stage, I felt overwhelmed as memories of the moments I dreamed of while watching her, and all the efforts I’ve made so far, rushed through my mind.”
Furthermore, she said, “I thought a lot about our fans, FEARNOT (fan club name). If FEARNOT could feel the emotions I feel when I see IU sunbaenim… I want to become a presence that gives strength to Fiana as well.” She expressed, “I want to stay in FEARNOT’s memories for a long time, becoming a source of strength in their hearts.”
Kim Chaewon concluded, “I want to cherish the emotions I felt today and hold onto them for a long time. And I have set new goals. I hope FEARNOT will stay by my side for a long time until I achieve those goals. I will try even harder.” She added, “With gratitude to the Uaenas who welcomed me warmly today and to IU sunbaenim, I will end the day with this heartfelt gratitude.”
On the 9th, Le Serafim performed as guests at IU’s world tour concert ‘2024 IU H. E. R. WORLD TOUR CONCERT IN SEOUL,’ held at KSPO DOME in Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
IU’s Seoul performances are scheduled from the 2nd to the 10th, spanning two weeks with four shows on Saturdays and Sundays. On the first day, the girl group NewJeans, and on the third day, the boy group RIIZE, appeared as guests respectively.
