On May 27th, LE SSERAFIM members Kim Chaewon, Sakura, and Kazuha communicated with fans via a live video broadcast.

Before the vlive started in earnest, Sakura found comments from Japanese fans and said thank you in Japanese. She is then followed by Kim Chaewon, who also tried to say hello in the language but ended up saying “Konnichiwa, IZ*ONE desu”, which translates to “Hell, we are IZ*ONE”.

Chaewon cringed upon realizing her mistake.

Chaewon used to be a member of Kpop girl group IZ*ONE for about two and a half years, from October 2018 to May 2021. Therefore, old habits made her words come out wrong momentarily.

Upon realizing her mistake, Chaewon clenched her teeth and quickly said: “LE SSERAFIM desu” (We are LE SSERAFIM). Then, Sakura, who was also a member of IZ*ONE, skillfully changed the topic so that fans would not notice the mistake.

As of the moment, fans are sympathizing with Chaewon, calling her mistake cute and saying. “It’s a career mistake”, “Habit is very scary”, and “I once misintroduced myself to my former workplace the same way.”

In the video, Sakura, Kim Chaewon, and Kazuha can be seen making cute rubber balls while having a good time communicating with fans.

They also played the now popular “balance game” in Korea, showed cute aegyos, as well as tried the trending “gyaru peace” pose.
