LE SSERAFIM Kim Chae Won talks about her popularity in high school, “Someone made a post about me on SNS” (Knowing Bros)

LE SSERAFIM (Sakura, Kim Chae Won, Huh Yun Jin, Kazuha, and Hong Eun Chae) guested on episode 381 of JTBC’s entertainment show “Knowing Bros”.

Revealing that she was very popular during her school days, Kim Chae Won confidently said, “I studied at Gaepo High School. On the SNS page of my school, someone posted a message, asking “Does Kim Chae Won of Class X Grade Y have a boyfriend?’, and some even came to my class to see my face. I like receiving attention but I was shy. So I pretended to do something, like reading a book.”

Hearing that, Seo Jang Hoon commented, “Not only Kim Chae Won, other members would have also been popular when they were in school”, asking “Jennifer (Huh Yun Jin’s English name), were you famous?”. In response, Huh Yun Jin said, “Not bad”. She then explained the way American students confessed, saying “They approach as friends and confess through text messages”.

Kazuha added, “I was famous, too. I kept feeling that someone was staring at me”. Kim Hee Chul jokingly said, “I don’t think Eun Chae was popular at school.”

Hong Eun Chae, who earlier revealed that she was a former school president at her elementary school, replied, “Don’t you know that a school president was chosen through a popularity vote?”, drawing laughter.
