LE SSERAFIM Huh Yun-jin: “I didn’t know that I’d meet Sakura and Kim Chae-won again after ‘Produce 48′”

LE SSERAFIM Huh Yun-jin expressed her feelings about debuting with Sakura and Kim Chae-won.

At the media showcase to commemorate the release of LE SSERAFIM’s debut album “FEARLESS“, which was held at Jangchung Gymnasium in Jung-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of May 2nd, Huh Yun-jin confessed, “I didn’t know that I’d meet Sakura and Kim Chae-won again after ‘Produce 48’ (2018).”

Sakura, Kim Chae-won and Huh Yun-jin met as well-intentioned rivals on the audition program “Produce 48” four years ago. At that time, Huh Yun-jin was eliminated, while Sakura and Kim Chae-won were selected as members of the project group IZ*ONE and were active until last year.

Huh Yun-jin said with a smile, “It was so good to get together as a team like this. I wondered how different and awkward it would have been since 4 years had passed, but as soon as we met, we got along so well.”

The six-member girl group LE SSERAFIM, consisting of Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, Kim Ga-ram and Hong Eun-chae, is an anagram of “IM FEARLESS“, which implies the girls’ self-confidence and strong will to move forward without the fear of being swayed by the gaze of the world.

LE SSERAFIM‘s debut album “FEARLESS” contains a total of five songs, including the title track of the same name. Executive producer Bang Si-hyuk participated in the work of the title track “FEARLESS” and the b-side song “The Great Mermaid“. Members Kim Chae-won and Huh Yun-jin participated in the lyrics of the third track “Blue Flame”.

The album was released through various music sites at 6 PM today.
