JTBC’s “Knowing Bros” broadcast on January 20th featured Kyuhyun, SISTAR19’s Bora & Hyolyn as guests.
Kang Ho-dong raised viewers’ curiosity as he said, “Can I talk about this?”, adding “In the past, Kyuhyun asked for Hyolyn’s phone number and she hurt his feelings”.
Kyuhyun then said, “We appeared on ‘Immortal Songs’ together. There were six people, including me, Hyolyn, Park Jae-beom, G.O, Huh Gak and Jeon Ji-yoon. After the last recording, we were planning to have dinner together. Since I’m among the oldest, I needed to ask for everyone’s numbers and find a place. That’s why I asked Hyolyn for her number”.
He continued, “I explained the situation and asked for her number. At that time, Hyolyn was using her phone. She could just give me her phone number, right? But she was like ‘What?’ and then she took out another phone and gave me the number of that phone”.
Later, Kyuhyun called the number but the person who answered was a man, not Hyolyn. Kyuhyun said, “It turned out that it was the number of SISTAR’s agency director”, expressing his disappointment.
Hearing the story, Seo Jang-hoon asked Hyolyn, “Did you hate Kyuhyun that much?”. In response, Hyolyn said, “We just debuted at that time so the company didn’t want us to go to private gatherings”.
Kyuhyun then added, “I met Hyolyn at the airport recently”, but Hyolyn didn’t remember that. As a result, the Super Junior member reacted, “Am I not even in your mind?”, drawing laughter.
