Blackpink’s Jennie Claims Top Spot in Individual Girl Group Brand Reputation, Followed by Taeyeon at Second Place

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute conducted a big data analysis for individual girl group brand reputations in January 2024, extracting brand big data for 655 individual members from December 21 of the previous year to January 21 of the current year, totaling 86,587,833 pieces of data. They analyzed the brand reputation index using consumer behavior analysis for girl group individual brands, considering participation index, media index, communication index, and community index. Compared to December, the brand big data for individual girl group members decreased by 15.48%.

Blackpink’s Jennie, who topped the individual brand reputation for girl group members, recorded a brand reputation index of 3,392,111 with a participation index of 291,697, media index of 1,282,340, communication index of 1,272,874, and community index of 1,699,306. This represents a 12.85% increase compared to the brand reputation index of 3,005,946 in December.

In second place, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon had a brand reputation index of 3,135,044, with a participation index of 609,921, media index of 666,833, communication index of 1,085,453, and community index of 772,837. This reflects a 20.66% decrease compared to the brand reputation index of 3,951,474 in December.

NewJeans’ Hani, ranking third in individual brand reputation, had a brand reputation index of 2,539,275, with a participation index of 618,783, media index of 676,704, communication index of 505,071, and community index of 738,717. This indicates a 38.04% decrease compared to the brand reputation index of 4,098,518 in December.

In fourth place, aespa’s Karina recorded a brand reputation index of 2,496,698, with a participation index of 242,613, media index of 235,592, communication index of 384,190, and community index of 1,638,074. This represents a 25.40% increase compared to the brand reputation index of 1,999,190 in December.

In fifth place, Blackpink’s Jisoo had a brand reputation index of 2,435,950, with a participation index of 222,490, media index of 233,626, communication index of 883,398, and community index of 1,093,322. This indicates a 24.97% decrease compared to the brand reputation index of 3,239,536 in December.
